A Birthday Gift from God

This morning, during my quiet time, a verse spoke to me: “The Lord gives strength to his people; the Lord blesses his people with peace.” Psalms 29:11 NIV


When I read the devotion this morning, I felt so loved by our Daddy God. Today is my birthday. I did not specifically ask God to give me a word or a verse but He gave it to me even without me asking for one. God is reminding me that He will grant me His presence and peace in all seasons of my life, in my mountain top experiences and in my valleys. We need to give glory to and acknowledge God’s presence in our mountain top experiences and humbly submit ourselves to His lordship in our valleys to experience the peace.
