He will take our five loaves and two fish and multiply them to feed the multitudes

The WOW! Conference has always held a special place in my heart as without fail, I have encountered God and had my passion for Him reignited, year after year. So, when I had the chance to attend this year’s conference in Manila and support in leading worshipping, my heart leapt with excitement.

The moment I met the Cornerstone Philippines worship team, I was so moved by their warmth, humility, excellence, and pure hearts of worship. Over the course of the Conference, by His grace, the love and unity between us grew as we flowed together in leading the people in worship; almost as if we had been doing so for years. It was truly a synergy of nations and beautiful to behold the bride of Christ coming together from different parts of the world with one desire to see Him lifted high.

As we led worship, from the very first song of the first session of the Conference, the hunger of the people and the presence of God was so palpable. Without the need for an invitation or persuasion, passionate praise broke out like a mighty roar and heart-felt worship like sweet incense. At certain moments during the worship, I felt heat behind my ears; something that I had never experienced before, and I knew that His presence was in the room in an undeniable way. During altar calls, it was so precious to witness first-hand many get healed, set free and surrender their lives to God.

Even as I was seeing God do amazing things during the Conference, I had a nagging fear that my voice would not be able to sustain singing multiple sessions. But again, by His grace and loving-kindness, He sustained my voice and carried me through.

As we choose to take on the assignments that He has prepared for us, we can be sure that He will take our five loaves and two fish and multiply them to feed the multitudes. Blessings, miracles, and the adventure of a lifetime await every time we say “Yes” to Him!     - Rachael Gunasilan (Singapore)
