WOW! AUCTION
This set of paintings is produced by a member of WOW! Women's Ministry. At a prayer meeting, she felt a strong prompting from the Lord to commence on a series of paintings. Responding to the leading of the Lord, she successfully finished three Chinese paintings.
She gifted these paintings to WOW! Ministry and as Ps Daphne prayed, we have decided to auction these beautiful paintings. The artist has also graciously agreed with our suggestion. She named her works, "The Harvest”, which is a call for all believers to embark on a journey to become powerful witnesses for God.
All proceeds will go towards the support of the ministry through IRIS Ministries (Mozambique) and Love Papua Ministry (Indonesia). Each painting will start with a minimum bid of $1000 Singapore Dollars. They will be auctioned individually.
The auction will conclude on 16th September at 10:00 AM, and the winning bids will be announced at the end of the Conference. More details on how you may put in your bid will be found at the exhibition level.
Harvest is Plentiful I 收获颇丰
Open your eyes and look at the fields. Like the boatsmen moving towards the harvest, may we be compelled by the love of Christ to be His witnesses and laborers for the expansion of His Kingdom!
"Then He said to His disciples, The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.” - Matthew 9:37-38
Willing and Well-equipped Labourers I 劳者多能
The symbolism of the autumn leaves represents the ripening harvest. The image of willing labourers setting out on boats during the season of abundant harvest serves as a powerful metaphor for spiritual readiness and seizing opportunities to share the gospel. Labourers trained and equipped for the work ahead! "that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." – 2 Timothy 3:17
Haul in the Harvest I 满载而归
We are commissioned to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. The palm leaves represent victory and triumph as we haul in the harvest. Let us arise and shine, be led by the Holy Spirit and be ready and willing vessels for His Glory! "Arise, shine, For your light has come! And the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, And deep darkness the people; But the Lord will arise over you, And His glory will be seen upon you." - Isaiah 60:1-2
