WITNESS

Every story & testimony is a reminder that God is ever present.
Be encouraged as you read these testimonies and discover how God is working across nations, generations, and seasons of life. May each story strengthen your faith, inspire your journey, and remind you that the same God who has worked in their lives is at work in yours.

Your story matters too. If God has done something in your life through WOW! or in your personal walk with Him, we would love to hear it. Share your testimony and become a witness of His goodness, so that others may be encouraged to trust Him and walk boldly in their calling.

I struggled with anxiety and fear of having another miscarriage, but in one of the meetings as Pastor Daphne was giving an analogy using a pregnant woman who would birth a baby. She released this word “You will carry what God has put in you to full term”, and I claimed it for myself. From that moment, I knew that everything would be ok, and that was God’s promise to me. I managed to attend WOW! together with my healthy and perfect 5 month old baby. WOW! conference has always had a special place in my heart. - Leanne Lim

I was given so much, in abundance. Amongst all that I received was the LORD's joy. I

knew I was in his presence and I was experiencing the fullness of his joy. And LORD

told me, "You bring this home and share it."

In that moment, I realized that Japan has no true joy. I will protect that joy by cherishing it and, by the Holy Spirit, giving it away freely and generously, relying on the strength He provides. "The LORD your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing and shouts of joy" (Zeph 3.17) -Pastor Barbara Suzuki, Mizuba Community Church

“Come to God through the narrow gate, because the wide gate and broad path is the way that leads to destruction —nearly everyone chooses that crowded road! The narrow gate and the difficult way leads to eternal life—so few even find it!”

Matthew 7:13-14

While going on a home visit in the Philippines, I had to walk through a padi field. I was horrified! The mud path was so narrow that it could only fit one foot. It took a lot of balancing to get through the field. As I took my first step, a scripture came to mind.

“Maureen, can you imagine if you had brought your luggage?” I replied, “Lord, no way can I manage that.” The Lord said, “That’s right…you’ve got to offload and travel light if you want to stay on this narrow path. To keep my balance, I had to concentrate and keep my focus and not be distracted. What a lesson I learnt that day!

Friends, to keep on this narrow path is a choice and it’s not going to be easy. But Jesus tells us that this path leads us to eternal life.

To stay on the Narrow Way:

  1. Keep your eyes on Jesus

  2. It’s a choice you’ll have to make constantly

  3. Travel light (Hebrews 12:1-2)

Pray Father, give me the eyes of Your dove; an undistracted devotion for You alone.
Teach me Your way, O LORD; I will walk in Your truth;
unite my heart to fear Your name.
